Before the Move

Here’s a checklist of things that you should consider before making the expat move:

(2) Research the destination country: Learn as much as you can about the country you’re moving to, including the culture, language, customs, and laws.

(3) Obtain the necessary visas and paperwork: Make sure you have all the required documentation, including passports, birth certificates, and work permits (Company/HR)

(4) Pack wisely: Decide what to take and what to leave behind, keeping in mind the weight and size restrictions for your transportation. (Relocation Package)

(5) Notify important people: Inform your family, friends, and relevant institutions, such as banks or healthcare providers of your new location and address.

(6) Check the weather: Understand the local climate and bring appropriate clothing and gear.

(7) Plan for pets: If you are bringing pets, ensure you have met all the requirements for their transport and care.
